La Fundacion Universitaria del Area Andina in its 34 years of academic trajectory seeks excellence, perseverance and improvement of students’ quality of life developing educational and human competences for coexistence and survival upgrading in the society.

1983 december  Beginning of the academic work as a Technological Institution in the city of Bogota. 
1993 The Ministry of National Education recognizes the university character of the Institution
1994 Beginning of academic activities in the city of Pereira
1996 Beginning of postgraduate training programs
1998 Beginning of the educational offers of continuing education
2000 Beginning of the offer of Distance Methodology programs and acknowledgement as a Regional of the Institution located in the city of Pereira
2001 Beginning of Academic activities in the city of Valledupar
2006 The Optometry academic program in Bogotá receives the first recognition of High-Quality Accreditation
2009 The foundation was accepted as an affiliated Member of the Association of Colombian Universities –ASCUN.  First Certification as a responsible Institution in an exemplary way.
Own Physical plan inauguration in the city of Valledupar
2010 First Program in the virtual mode
2012 First Program in the level of Master’s training
2015 First Sustainability Report, with the Global Pact International standard and Principles for Responsible Education and for the first time, the GRI methodology (in its G4 version). 
2016 The initial conditions document for the Multicampus Institutional Accreditation is presented before the CNA, receiving that same year the visit of CNA counselors.

¿Cómo valido las credenciales de acceso a las plataformas y/o realizar restablecimiento de contraseña?

Tu usuario y contraseña será asignado. Una vez te encuentres matriculado (efectuado pago de matrícula) se te enviará al correo electrónico relacionado en el formulario de inscripción, notificando el correo institucional y contraseña de acceso.
